Bob Vaught and I.Q. Home Inspections brings you the knowledge and experience of 35 years in the construction industry, building materials, residential & commercial inspections, custom homes, commercial buildings, and remodeling to your professional home or commercial property inspection.

Bob worked for US Carpentry in the early ’80s as a framing carpenter and has over 600 hours of training from The Refrigeration School (air conditioning and heating) in Phoenix, AZ...

Bob owned a successful metal stud framing, drywall, and painting contracting business in the Phoenix, AZ area with 80 + employees.

At the same time, Bob and his brother started Indoor Environmental Technologies, a residential and commercial air duct cleaning and environmental testing company. 

After running those businesses for several years, it was time to sell and expand his knowledge of the construction industry.

For the next 10+ years, Bob has worked as a building superintendent, project manager, and builder/ contractor in the custom home and commercial building and remodeling industry and became a residential & commercial general contractor (BV Builders LLC – ROC #177789) in the state of Arizona.

Bob has been a certified home inspector in the Great State of Arizona for 16 years (certification #40688) and has a National Home Inspector Certification. American Society of Home Inspectors (#244875). Bob is also a Certified Master Inspector, Member of PRO SPEX, Certified Mold Screener, Pro Lab Industry, Affiliate Member of several Area Association of Realtors, and a certified instructor for the Arizona Department of Real Estate
